Creative Media Industries - Session 4 - Who Are You? Making A CV

Having given me details of job roles, it's time to find out how YOU are going to slot into the industry, what skills you'll need for what roles interest you and what you need to work on to get there.  Firstly we need to find out who the hell YOU are.  Steps 1-3 will help you do this. Then it's a good idea to make a CV that's up to date, a living document that will grow as your skills grow. Creative Media Production Session 3 - Job Roles In The Creative Media Industries

The Historical relationship between creative media production and the creative media industries is TOO EPIC a subject for me to deal with right now. Let's get a few easier criteria tucked away first. The third learning outcome of this unit is about the different roles and relationships that exist between different types of job in the film industry "LO3 Evaluate the roles and relationships within a specific area of creative media production" Today I simply want you to give me a detailed outline of the type of jobs that are available in the film industry. Do this as follows. 1. Have a look at the following links and get yourself acquainted with what types of job are available in the film industry. Try and read about not just the creative jobs, but also production  jobs, management  jobs, technical jobs and support roles.  For each of these types of jobs I'm going to want you to describe a particular job role so take notes as you read if needs be.
